¡Openthenext & Sofrito Bar presentan con orgullo la primera edición de Black to the Mambo!
Un club de baile híbrido, donde los sonidos de la selva se fundirán con los ritmos de la ciudad, y en el que la electrónica underground se fusionará con el boogaloo, el afrobeat, la pshyco cumbia, el funk, el dub, el disco, llevando a los bass del futuro a encontrarse con los drums del pasado.
Un combinado ecléctico de sonido, groove y tempo para una pista de baile desestructurada y cadenciosa que encenderá el dance floor como nunca habías visto.

Baque in Beat es una propuesta del músico Bruno Lima (programaciones y saxo), conocido por otros proyectos como, Babel Sound Sistema y Sonoro Dub . En esta ocasión se presenta junto a Nicolás Cristancho (teclado y voz), componente del grupo de jazz y música experimental Yurgaki y la percusionista Jabu Morales (voz y percusión), para ofercernos un directo en el que fusionarán ritmos ancestrales con beats electrónicos. Una mezcla de Maracatu, Breakbeat, Cumbia, Funk, Samba y Dub, que te llevará a un viaje musical refrescante.

Toni Sabariego es un DJ que combina su amor por los ritmos tropicales con una base firme en la cultura de club moderna. Sus sets dibujan un collage sonoro que abarca desde la nueva ola tropical hasta la world music y la música negra, pasando por estilos como breaks, psychocumbia, dub, disco, house, afrobeat, global bass... Un cóctel repleto de aromas y sabores, de toques clásicos y electrónicos, con el que ofrece su particular visión de la nueva música tropical.

Dj set old school concept realizado con vinilos y tres platos por Umo, Cat Gabal y Zeda, Coleccionistas/Selectores de vinilos desde finales de los 90 y dealers de la más pura y refinada música electrónica en la ciudad de Barcelona. Han sido habituales durante estos últimos 10 años en el circuito de clubs de electrónica de la ciudad (Razzmatazz, Moog, Becool, Zentraus, City Hall, KGB, Row 14, Sidecar, Macarena) y siendo todo un referente dentro del circuito underground, han tocado en la gran mayoría de naves, locales y antros de la Barcelona que no sale en las revistas. Una selección musical sin prejuicios y una cosumada habilidad en el manejo de parametros como equalización y tempo, les hace posedores del control sobre la pista de baile. Donde los ritmos lentos hiperbailables progresan hasta explotar en rare grooves, nu dub, breaks, space funk, cosmic disco, para volver a caer y subir una y otra vez, creando una experiencia de baile imprevisible e hipnótica que encenderá tus pupilas. Txikilu (Sofrito Bar)
Sin duda uno de los platos fuertes del Sofrito Bar en el deep PobleSec es su selección musical, y es Txikilu el encargado de llevarla a cabo con un acertado combinado entre Afro Latin tunes, funk y electronic music. Poseedor de una variada colección de vinilos y residente en las fiestas de La Casa del Ritmo -en su día una de las pistas de baile caliente de Barcelona- nos ofrecerá para Black to the Mambo una sesión ecléctica, como siempre un sofrito musical, a base de boogaloo, afrobeat, afro funk, cumbia dub, idm y toques de drum 'n bass!

Openthenext_New Year Eve 2016 (Club Fum BCN)
Fiesta año nuevo en uno de los locales mejor acondicionados de Barcelona, Fum Club. Ubicado en una antigua fábrica considerada edificio histórico y que cuenta con dos espacios, amplios, confortables , climatizados y con un sonido espectacular. .
Proponemos una noche con una cuidada selección musical , para aquellos que si le dan importancia a la musica a la hora de salir. Programada por OpenTheNext.
Sala 1: Electronica , Cumbia, Disco, Tropical Rave, Funk, Reggae, Dub, House, Italo. Ritmos lentos y bailables, sensuales y cadenciosos, ideales para pistas de baile desestructuradas.
Sala 2: Avant Techno , Future Bass , Break Beat , Electro, Acid , Cosmic Disco , Synth Wave . Ritmos electrónicos , drums and synths, full bassline y un poco mas de volumen para la sala de abajo.

Empezamos a las 22.30 h , para aquellos que quieran pasar de la viejas costumbres de entrar el año sentados en una mesa y prefieran hacerlo en la pista de baile. Habra canapés, otros entrantes, y cava cortesia de Club Fum.
ClubFum es un club privado exclusivo para socios. Si eres socio puedes conseguir tu entrada en el mismo club, disponibles en el en su horario habitual y hasta las 17.00 horas del dia 31. Si no eres socio, recuerda debes de ir acompañado de uno para poder inscribirte. Imprescindible llevar el DNI.
Recomendamos consigas tu entrada anticipada , y si no eres socio, hacerlo antes del evento, así te ahorras hacer cola para inscribirte la noche del evento. El año pasado se quedo mucha gente fuera , recuerda que el aforo limitado.

Nereida Prod Dj [at] Norberg Festival (Sweden)
Here is the first part of the B2B Cat Gabal/Zeda at the Norberg Festival_2014 edition (303 stage)

&finally below is a short video (extracts courtesy of our friend Robert Clouth who travelled with us from BCN).
Quite unusually it was extremely hot in Norberg/Sweden last year: past 18h on that Saturday pm it was still around 40degrees on the 303 outdoor stage!
You can see on the video that only a few brave people [-the Norberg party hard crew-] came onto the Dance floor despite the unbearable heat - while most of the people recovering from the previous day/nights were still chilling by the lac next to the festival venue or sitting under the shade a few meters away from the 303 stage,
We were told during the night by a few people that the session was eclectic and inspiring enough to enjoy from any spot though. Most specifically someone who did not really care who we were actually said some of the nicest and most authentic unsolicited words that we could remember from all these years playing out there in front of a reduced audience (the price to pay when one's go "underground" haha). We don't generally share feedbacks as such on this blog or elsewhere, but we think this is a also a small tribute to the festival and its audience: "Don't think that your session was for nothing, we were close enough you know, i want to tell you that it did matter to us, it reached us wholly and for us, it was one of the most interesting session of the festival this year."
Sweet the Swedes eh? ;)
In summary Norberg Festival is without hesitation a great festival to recommend.
Just the fact that every year there are more than 200 artists/students volunteering to work there for free speaks for itself no?
Naturally we could not help thinking of a smaller and experimental version of the Fusion festival where there is little money, no security men, no pressure, no hipsters, no big names and where art and nature are embedded to the point of including the entire miner venue in the headlines of the line up. Also where camping/tents are almost an extension of the music stages & where the audience can merge with the festival staff to become one sole element.
That, and maybe also the vegetarian food prepared by Lucas Percario, whom we met there unexpectedly! :D

Taller de serigrafía > 15h-17h
Proceso serigráfico artesanal para cualquier persona que quiera saber como se realiza esta técnica. La idea es desarrollar todo el proceso a nivel teórico-práctico y mostrar paso por paso, desde el diseño, como se convierte en fotolito y mediante la insoladora es copiado a la pantalla o bastidor y finalmente revelado. Luego de un pequeño recreo, seguimos con el proceso de impresión. Cada persona realizará algunas copias pudiendo así imprimirse su propia camiseta que podrá llevarse a casa.
